Public Works Landscape Division

The foundation of which OMA Construction was built upon

Heavy construction contractor

Public Works Landscape Division

The standard we set highest at OMA Construction is to complete our projects as environmentally efficient as possible. Before the idea of “going green” was popular, we had already instilled this virtue in all our employees and set in place a master plan to convert all our equipment to be more environmentally friendly. While trying to make the environment a better place, we found ourselves diverging into landscaping. The art of recreating what nature intended.

OMA Construction Specialization

OMA Construction specializes in commercial and public works landscaping which includes – erosion control and hydro-seeding; soil amendment; irrigation; and new plantings. With our landscape division’s management team having an average of 30 years experience, we have been able to successfully acquire some of the largest landscaping jobs in Washington. Included in the list are some of the more prominent projects: Sound Transit’s Link Light Rail, SeaTac Airport for the Port of Seattle, I-405 Bellevue to Lynnwood and Redmond Way Flyover.

Being a Union Contractor, we have been able to obtain and keep the most dedicated experts in the landscaping field. With this low turnover rate, OMA Construction has created teams specializing in each individual area of landscaping to ensure a quality final project, no matter how complex it might be.

Services We Offer

When starting this division back in 2004 we started with a crew of ten team members. Today as the environment has become more pertinent on most agendas, we have grown to a team of over 50 members consisting of CESCLs; hydro-seeders; erosion control specialists; irrigation installers; and chemical applicators. With such a fast growth rate we are continually looking for the most qualified applicants to join our team.
